First play of new UCLA Quarterback Josh Rosen was a play action deep pass to Kenny Walker. Rosen hit him right in the hands and Walker dropped it. It should have come out in the headlines that Rosen’s first college pass was a 75 yard score. Instead, it goes down in the statistics as an incomplete pass.
Always remember that this is a team game and it’s not always the Quarterback, but this time with his very first ever college pass Josh Rosen put it right on the money.
Defensive Back for Virginia Maurice Canady took a swipe at the ball, but clearly missed it. His swipe likely distracted Kenny Walker and took his focus off of the ball and he embarrassingly dropped a
sure fire Touchdown.
Kenny Walker is a talent and the fastest guy on the UCLA Bruin team, it is said, and he will recover and catch a lot of passes.
Rosen, in the meantime, is a talent and will prove it long after this play is out of his mind.
I posted about Rosen recently and no I am not related to the young man: Troy AikmanÂ
