Week 1 Predictions

Anyone else ready for some football?

These are my predictions for week one in the bigger games.

Thursday Night:

North Carolina vs South Carolina: The Gamecocks should take them early in the season. North Carolina offense was great last season, but defense was awful. They have taken steps to correct, but will take more time than the first game.

TCU at Minnesota:  Horn Frogs beat down the Gophers again.

Michigan at Utah:  Jim Harbaugh’s first game, but it will take some time. Utah should take them at home.

Friday Night:

Colorado at Hawaii: The Buffaloes need the win here.

Washington at Boise State: The Huskies won’t be able to see the blue jersey wearing Bronco players against that hideous blue turf. Seriously, that turf should be outlawed and I can’t watch a game on it. Boise State should take it.

Saturday:

Louisville vs Auburn: The Tigers of the SEC should win this.

Wisconsin vs Alabama: Crimson Tide of Alabama beats Wisconsin in first game of new coach. We don’t know who will Quarterback the Tide, but they should be able to run all over the Badgers.

Arizona State vs Texas A%M: The Sun Devils are ranked higher, but the Aggies win in Texas.

Virginia at UCLA:  Both teams will be breaking in new Quarterbacks. Bruins should be tough in 2015 and will take this game.

Penn State at Temple: Franklin’s Nittany Lions are an up and coming team and will win here.

Texas at Notre Dame: The Irish will win and Texas still needs a Quarterback.

Stanford at Northwestern: The Cardinal expect to bounce back big in 2015 and should beat the Wildcats.

BYU at Nebraska: The return of Taysom Hill sparks a big win for the Cougars of BYU.

Mississippi State at Southern Miss: Dak Prescott has a lot of new teammates but same results in a win here.

Monday Night:

Ohio State at Virginia Tech: I have a feeling the Hokies will win this game, but I have to pick the Buckeyes.
