The NCAA: What a Joke

This is going to be a really short post.

I just need to vent a little and hey, I actually do own the place. So, what if I hurt anyone’s feeling? I am tired of avoiding the real issues.

Shea Patterson left Ole Miss supposedly because they were on probation. Nah, I’ve got a bridge to sell you if you think that’s the truth. The reason he left Ole Miss, and they really are cheaters, is because he got beat out.

He transfers to Michigan and is granted immediate eligibility. Why? What’s the real reason here other than they were afraid of some hotshot lawyer?

Justin Fields was rated higher than Trevor Lawrence a couple of years back on some people’s and

services recruiting lists. Nah, he’s not even close in reality. I am well aware that at some silly 7 on 7 competition he outplayed Trevor Lawrence, but that’s not real football, folks.

He signed with Georgia and basically can’t beat out incumbent Jake Fromm and transfers to Ohio State. Claims that a baseball player used the ‘N’ word towards him. Nah, never happened. Myth and lies to come up with a valid reason to leave. The real reason is he couldn’t beat out Jake Fromm who is NFL caliber talent.

Don’t believe that? Wait and see for yourself.

Fields is granted immediate eligibility. Why? What’s the real reason? It sure wasn’t racism. If anything, it’s more about pampering and being a big baby.

Tate Martell was the projected starter at Ohio State before the arrival of Justin Fields. Martell says see ya later and heads for Miami. He is granted immediate eligibility from the NCAA to play for the Hurricanes this season. Why?

What’s so special about Tate Martell that he needs to be able to play immediately? I think it’s a backlash because of the situation with Fields, but not sure what the NCAA’s reasoning is if anything. Do they reason?

Other players are entering the new transfer portal which is another dumb new rule. However, these players have to sit out the traditional season if they hit the road. Why? It’s total inconsistency and a load of bull.

Either grant them all immediate eligibility and begin the new totally crazy college football free agent market where the big dogs can come in and recruit current players that are better than expected while being recruited, or grant none of them immediate eligibility.

It’s not rocket science. It’s college football, However, rules don’t apply to some that do apply to others.

I could go on, but rant over. The NCAA just stinks. It always has and it always will.
