Best Big 10 Recruits

Ohio State and Michigan kept pace with just about anybody in the country with this class. Michigan, especially, really took steps to improve their roster. Penn State and Michigan State also had really good recruiting classes

 

QB:

Brandon Peters – Michigan: One of the nation’s great Quarterbacks.

Richard Lagow – Indiana: Big JUCO guy that could be the next star at Indiana

Dwayne Haskins – Ohio State: One of the top Quarterbacks out there and the Bucks stole him from Maryland. He should be a star in Columbus.

Messiah DeWeaver – Michigan State: I blogged about him before: The Chosen One

RB:

Antonio Williams – Ohio State: I see football glory in this young man’s future. He is talented.

Buckeyes need a replacement for Ezekiel Elliott.

Kareem Walker – Michigan: Very fast and talented Running Back. Can take it the distance.

Miles Sanders – Penn State: Should complement Saquon Barkley very well and a talent in his own right.

Demario McCall – Ohio State: Very small Running Back, but talented and shifty.

WR:

Eddie McDoom – Michigan: Doom for opposing Defensive Backs.

Dylan Crawford – Michigan: The Wolverines helped themselves greatly at WR with guys like Crawford.

Brad Hawkins – Michigan: Big play Brad, Michigan killed it in recruiting and especially in Jersey.

Ahmir Mitchell – Michigan: Super talented WR and could see early playing time.

TE:

Jake Hausmann – Ohio State: Looks like a typical Buckeye Tight End with great blocking skills.

Luke Farrell – Ohio State: Great sized prospect that can block and catch.

Nick Eubanks – Michigan: Very speedy Tight End and a play maker.

Devin Asiasi – Michigan: Huge Tight End, could grow into a Tackle.

OT:

Ben Bredeson – Michigan: One of the nation’s great Offensive Tackle prospects.

Michael Jordan – Ohio State: Great name, and talented to match.

Matt Farniok – Nebraska: Could remind of the Husker Offensive Linemen of old.

Cole Van Lanen – Wisconsin: The Badgers always have great Offensive Linemen. Remember this guy’s name.

OG:

Tyler Gerald – Ohio State: Definitely one of the better Offensive Guard prospects in the land.

Terrance Davis – Maryland: Huge get for the Terrapins. They lost some guys to the Buckeyes, but Davis is a nice prospect.

Michal Menet – Penn State: The Lions needed some great Offensive Linemen and Menet is that.

John Raridon – Nebraska: Huskers improved their OL with this class.

OC:

Connor McGovern – Penn State: Lions also helped their OL with this class and it was needed.

Jack Wohlabaugh – Ohio State: One of the top Centers available.

Keandre Jones – Ohio State: One of the top Outside Linebackers in the nation.

Devin Bush Jr – Michigan: Son of a former Florida State great. Super speedy LB is talented.

Cameron Brown – Penn State: Tall and speedy prospect and could be outstanding.

Tuf Borland – Ohio State: Rough and rugged Linebacker and not related to the Wisconsin great.

ILB:

Carter Coughlin – Minnesota: Gophers best recruit and a very good Linebacker and a team leader.

Elysee Mbem-Bosse – Michigan: Tough talent from Georgia. Michigan really improved talent on their team with this class.

Greg Simmons – Nebraska: What the Huskers needed, speed from Florida.

Kyle Taylor – Iowa: Big Linebacker from DC. Should play quickly for the Hawkeyes.

CB:

Zechariah McPhearson – Penn State: Good Corner prospect from Maryland.

Lavert Hill – Michigan: Talented Corner from Detroit and one of only 2 Michigan recruits from in-state.

Tony Butler – Nebraska: Not that highly rated, but good sized Corner.

Wayne Davis – Ohio State: Only a 3 star recruit but good potential.

DB: 

Marquel Dismuke – Nebraska: One of the top Safeties in the nation and should play early.

Eric Burrell – Wisconsin: Badgers rated Maryland for a talented Safety.

Joshua Metellus – Michigan: Great Florida talent headed North.

Khaleke Hudson – Michigan: Only a 3 star, but he has some ability.

Athlete:

Lamar Jackson – Nebraska: Super athlete, but where will he end up?

Jahsen Wint – Ohio State: Talented athlete out of Brooklyn.
