All SEC Recruit Team

If you are a fan of the SEC, this should be a great feeling for you. While, I don’t get being a fan of a conference, the SEC took more steps to distance itself from the rest of the country. The Big 10’s Ohio State, Michigan and maybe Penn State kept pace, as did the ACC’s Florida State and Clemson. But, the Pac 12 had a miserable year.

Here are the best players at each position.

 

 

QB:

Shea Patterson – Ole Miss: A rare talent. I’ve no idea why Patterson is only a 4 star.

Jacob Eason – Georgia: The son of NFL Quarterback Tony Eason. Jacob Eason is 6-6, 220 with all of the tools and then some.

Feleipe Franks – Florida: Franks is also 6-6, 220 but a little more rough around the edges. Florida coaches must not agree because they moved last year’s QB to Wide Receiver.

Jarrett Guarantano – Tennessee: Very strong armed Quarterback from New Jersey.

RB:

BJ Emmons – Alabama: Simply put, the top Running Back in the country.

Devwah Whaley – Arkansas: Texas speedster could see early playing time.

Mark Thompson – Florida: Number 1 Junior College Running Back.

Natereace Strong – Missouri: Another top JC Running Back and this one from East St Louis.

WR:

Nate Craig-Myers – Auburn: The Tigers always have beastly receivers and Craig-Myers is a big and talented receiver from Florida. Rated the 2nd best in the nation.

Kyle Davis – Auburn: Another big, strong and talented receiver.

Tyrie Cleveland – Florida: Big and talented receiver from Houston, Texas.

AJ Brown – Ole Miss: Stolen right from under their chief rival’s noses. Big and fast receiver.

Drake Davis – LSU: The Tigers always come up with talent at WR and Davis is one of the best.

TE:

Isaac Nauta – Georgia: Top rated Tight End in the nation. The Bulldogs are already loaded there.

Landon Rice – Auburn: Talented Tight End that should play early.

Jacob Mathis – Ole Miss: A younger version of Evan Engram.

Jamal Pettigrew – LSU: 6-6, 235 star at Tight End.

OT:

Gregory Little – Ole Miss: The top player out of Texas. He should move right into Laremy Tunsil’s spot at Left Tackle.

Willie Allen – LSU: Monstrous human being at 6-7, 300 and rated as the 2nd best Offensive Tackle.

Jonah Williams – Alabama: Huge Californian is as big and talented as anyone.

Charles Baldwin – Alabama: Top JC OT that could start at Right Tackle for the Tide right away.

Landon Young – Kentucky: Home town boy is almost a sure thing for the Wildcats.

OG:

Chris Owens – Alabama: 3rd rated Offensive Guard as the rich get richer.

Ben Cleveland – Georgia: Bulldogs seem to come with top Lineman after top Lineman.

Deonte Brown – Alabama: Monstrous Guard prospect is excellent run blocker.

Austin Anderson – Texas A%M: One of the better OG prospects in Texas.

OC:

Drake Jackson – Kentucky: The Wildcats struck it rich in Offensive Linemen.

Sean Auwae – Vanderbilt: Pacific Islander with a motor.

DE:

Terrell Hall – Alabama: Very aggressive and talented Defensive End.

Justin Madubuike – Texas A%M: Big, strong and tough Defensive End.

Jonathon Kongbo – Tennessee: Top JUCO transfer. The Vols are bringing in some serious talent.

DT:

Benito Jones – Ole Miss: Super quick and athletic Tackle prospect. Very dominating.

Derrick Brown – Auburn: 5 star Defensive Tackle should make an immediate impact.

Rashad Lawrence – LSU: Louisiana puts out great talent and Lawrence is awesome.

Antwaun Jackson Jr – Auburn: The Tigers cleaned up at Defensive Tackle this year.

Julian Rochester – Georgia:  Bulldogs added to last year’s talent in the Defensive Line.

Michail Carter – Georgia: 9th rated Tackle prospect.

Alexis Johnson – Tennessee: Another top JUCO guy for the Vols. This guy is really good.

OLB:

Mack Wilson – Alabama: Very talented Outside Linebacker will only add to the talent on board.

Michael Divinity – LSU: Top Linebacker in the state and a speedy talent.

Tre Threat – Auburn: Speedy Linebacker talent.

Jamal Couch – Mississippi State: Mostly just untapped potential at this point.

ILB:

Ben Davis – Alabama: Super man playing football. Davis is one of the more impressive recruits in the country.

Errol Thompson – Miss State: Huge Linebacker with excellent closing speed. Tough hitter.

Daniel Bituli -Tennessee: I don’t think this talent is rated correctly. He is incredible.

Jaleel Laguins – Georgia: 11th rated player at his position.

CB:

Kristian Fulton – LSU: The Tigers always have great Defensive Backs and Fulton should be another.

Saivion Smith – LSU: Smith is one of the top Corners in the country.

Nigel Knott – Alabama: Smallish Corner, but very talented.

Shyheim Carter – Alabama: There’s nothing shy about this super prospect.

JaMarcus King – South Carolina: Muschamp is always going to attract top defensive players.

Marquill Osborne – Tennessee: Another big and super skilled Corner.

DB:

Chauncey Gardner – Florida: 4th rated Safety in high school and a talent.

Eric Monroe – LSU: One of the best Safeties out there.

Deontay Anderson – Ole Miss: Top rated Safety prospect from Texas.

JoeJuan Williams – Vanderbilt: Rangy Safety prospect and the Commodores top recruit.

Athletes:

Tyler Byrd – Tennessee: The Vols stole him from Miami last minute. Top athlete that could play anywhere.

Mecole Hardman – Georgia: Blue burner could play several positions. This guy is fast.

Charlie Woerner – Georgia: This guy is a huge talent with size and speed. Wonder where he plays at Georgia? He was all over the field in high school.

Aaron Hansford – Texas A%M: Super fast guy from DC that could play a number of positions.
