Florida State Comes Back on Ole Miss

Chad Kelly called himself the best Quarterback in college football. In the first half of his team’s opening game against Florida State, Kelly may have looked the part. In front of a sellout crowd including his hall of fame Uncle Jim Kelly, Chad Kelly was tearing the highly ranked Florida State defense to shreds.

Kelly and Ole Miss had a lot of bounces go their way, and they built an impressive 28-6 lead over the Seminoles.

The Seminoles had been ripped to shreds in the first half, but in spite of that they were still in the game and they were looking confident.

As the 3rd quarter began, it became apparent that Chad Kelly was not the best Quarterback in the nation. Furthermore, he was also not even the best Quarterback on the field this night as redshirt freshman Deondre Francois put on a show.

Yes, Kelly threw for 313 yards and 4 Touchdowns. But, he also threw 3 Interceptions and he fumbled the ball.

The Florida State Seminoles came from 22 points down to crush the Rebels of Ole Miss, 45-34. Not only that, but freshman Quarterback Deondre Francois didn’t brag about being the best Quarterback, but went out on the field and let his play do his talking.
