Terry Glenn Ohio State WR RIP

This morning, on a Monday November 20th, reports are coming out that former Ohio State great Wide Receiver Terry Glenn was killed in a car accident.

Details are not well known at the moment, but the 43 year old Glenn was a Buckeye All American in 1995 and he won the Biletnikoff award for the nation’s top receiver.

Amazingly, Terry Glenn was a walk-on at Ohio State. He grew up in Columbus, Ohio and like so many, just always wanted to be a  Buckeye.

He only started one season at Ohio State and as a sophomore and a junior he caught a grand total of 15 passes.

But, Glenn just exploded as a senior in 1995 and caught 64 passes which were good for 1,411 yards

He was a Patriot for 6 seasons before moving on to the Green Bay Packers for a year and then the Dallas Cowboys where he played another 5 seasons. He played 12 seasons in the NFL.

Glenn caught 593 passes for 8,823 yards and 44 touchdowns according to NFL.com.

Reportedly, he leaves behind a wife and 3 children.

It’s a sad day for Ohio State Buckeye fans and football fans in general.

He had a great career and especially for a former walk-on.
