CFC Poll September 11th 2016

This post in remembrance of those that died in New York City, the best city in the world, on September 11, 2001. May we never forget. 

 

1. Alabama 2-0: Beat Western Kentucky 38-10.

2. Florida State 2-0: Beat Charleston Southern 52-8.

3. Clemson 2-0: Struggled with Troy before winning 30-24.

4. Ohio State: Offense struggled early and defense saved them 48-3.

5. Michigan 2-0: Crushed UCF and new coach Scott Frost, 52-14.

6. Houston 2-0: Easy game against Lamar and they won 42-0 and rested some starters.

7. Florida 2-0: Walloped hapless Kentucky 45-7.

8. Stanford 1-0: Off this week, USC is next.

9. Ole Miss 1-1: Beat Wofford 38-13.

10. Louisville 2-0: Lamar Jackson had another banner game and they thumped Syracuse

11. Georgia 2-0: Barely survived Nicholls State, 26-24, they may be overrated.

12. Miami 2-0: Beat Florida Atlantic 38-10.

13. Oregon 2-0: Beat Virginia 44-26 defense still missing.

14. Wisconsin 2-0: Roughed up Akron 54-10.

15. Tennessee 2-0: Beat Virginia Tech 45-24 in front of record crowd that couldn’t see game.

16. Notre Dame 1-1: Beat Nevada 39-10.

17. Arkansas 2-0: Beat favored TCU in double OT 41-38. Outstanding finish.

18. LSU 1-1: Beat Jacksonville State 34-13

19. Oklahoma 1-1: Beat Louisiana Monroe 59-17

20. Texas 2-0: Beat UTEP 41-7

21. TCU 1-1: Lost to Arkansas in double OT 38-41

22. Washington 2-0: Beat Idaho soundly 59-14.

23. Pittsburgh 2-0: Game of the week with the Panthers surviving a shoot out with Penn State, 42-39

24. Iowa 2-0: Crushed Iowa State 42-3.

25. Michigan State 1-0: Idle, Notre Dame is next.

 

Just as Kaepernick has the right to protest during the National Anthem, I have the right to leave Baylor off of my Poll because they really did nothing about the mistreatment of women on campus. Plus, their continually scheduling weakest opponents possible to pad record and stats. Both elements are cowardly and disgusting while claiming to be a Christian university.
